About the Bicycle Industry Summit

The BTN Conference (Bicycle Tourism Network) existed prior to COVID as a space for cycling event organizers, tour operators, destinations, and industry partners to connect and share ideas. Like many in-person gatherings, BTN was paused during the pandemic and ultimately did not return.

Out of that experience—and the continued growth of cycling events and bike tourism—the Bicycle Industry Summit was created.

The Summit builds on the original spirit of BTN while reflecting where the cycling industry is today. It’s designed to bring together the people who plan, produce, support, and grow cycling events and experiences, with a renewed focus on collaboration, peer-to-peer learning, and meaningful networking.

Hosted alongside El Tour de Tucson, the Bicycle Industry Summit combines industry conversations with the shared experience of one of the country’s most iconic cycling events. Education, networking, and the ride itself are all part of the experience.

This isn’t a reboot—it’s the next chapter. The Bicycle Industry Summit is intentionally sized, relationship-driven, and focused on helping the cycling events and tourism industry connect, learn, and move forward together.
